About This Page

I've contributed to several Minecraft mods in my time on the net, especially throughout 2022. I've provided countless textures for these projects with my limited coding knowledge, but have also created my own little mod with the power of copying others' code. This page is a showcase of how my creative genius helped these mods fluorish in evergrowing Curseforge downloads.

CastleBlocks

This mod was created by my friend Jprik and can be downloaded here.

CastleBlocks is a mod for survival multiplayer PVP servers that serves as an alternative to chunk claming mods. Using the trowel item, you can turn all kinds of stone into castle brick variants that other players will have great difficulty breaking. The mod allows for other defensive measures with features like lockable doors, burning pitch liquid and falling boulders. This was one of my easier projects considering how similar most of the textures are to existing assets. Still, it was a good early project to familiarize myself with emulating the Minecraft style.

Super Block World

This mod was created by my friend Dayofpi and can be downloaded here.

Super Block World is an ambitious mod which adds a whole new dimension packed with features based on the Super Mario franchise. These range from ? blocks, goombas, working dotted line blocks, Toads complete with trading, new wood types and tons more. It's impossible to recall how many textures I've contributed to this mod, let alone count how many things the mod has to offer.

I started work after reaching out to Dayofpi around November 2021, who was at the time looking for a new texture artist. I seized this opportunity and was excited to have a little something more to do with my talents. We did a lot for quite a while, but work on the project has definitely slowed down a lot since 2023. In that same year, a port to Forge was made in order to rebuild the mod in a way where I feel the quality was prioritized over quantity. Lack of polish is something the Fabric version suffered from. Funnily, DanTDM actually reviewed the mod in a YouTube short around the time this version was made. I'm pretty sure it's the only time he has not, and I kid you not, creditted the mod in ANY capacity. No mention of the title, no links, nothing. It's the type of cruel happening I'd expect, given how unlucky I've been, but it kind of stung to have this titan of Minecraft content show off things we made with no credit.

Grillin' Galore

This mod was created by my friend Cflip and can be downloaded here.

Grillin' Galore is a simple culinary mod that focuses on helping players cook their food more efficiently without the hassle of complex machines. It primarily features 2 types of grills, a placeable rack of ribs that is cooked on top of the grills, and a soda maker that allows you to make some beverages that are good for an early game boost.

Having a hand in hatching the ideas for this mod, I was very closely involved with its creation. While we could add more in the future, in its current state, Grillin' Galore is a complete mod with no major issues. Some concepts that we never implemented are rare larger cows/pigs that give more meat (which we chose not to tackle for the time being due to the monumental task of adding mobs) and a way to season your food as it cooks on a grill via a seasoning mill. It would be crafted by filling an empty mill with various seeds and eventually run out with enough uses. While giving food better stats with a unique spin on the enchanting system is a fun idea, we decided to indefinitely postpone it until we might feel like adding it.

Bathroom Blocks

This mod was created by me. You can download it here.

At one point I decided to throw together some miscellaneous mod ideas, and they sat in the damp depths of my Google Docs for a hot minute. I tried numerous times to get help from friends and YouTube tutorials to make my own mod, but it never seemed to work out, until the fateful day when Cflip enlightened me with the power of copying code. After he threw together a basic mod with 2 blocks, it served as just about all the foundation I needed.

On its release into the thick wilderness of Curseforge, Bathroom Blocks started out adding nothing more than slippery decorative bathroom tiles, which are crafted from a raw stone block called raw bathroom. They now have a few variations known as sliptiles and slipbricks that also come in dark variants. Eventually I chose to branch outside of the mod's titular theme and start cramming in all kinds of junk. These include critters, mixed bricks and gummies that can be crafted with fruits and slime. Basically, this mod is just so I can fill all kinds of random niches I wish were in the game.

I still have a few ideas for this mod, despite my dwindling desire to keep working on mods. These things should happen eventually, but it's not a priority for me to work on goofy little projects like it these days. In fact, it's such a hassle to work on mods that I wouldn't have continued updating it on 1.20.1 if it weren't for someone I knew porting it for me. I can at least feel some relief that my mod isn't popular enough for its CurseForge page to be teeming with people asking for updates and ports. But basically, it's always possible for me to add to this when I feel like it, but I mostly just don't.
